If you haven’t caught on yet, I have three children which I enjoy having fun with. I have an even
more exciting time finding fun activities for them that cost little to no money.
Having a family and trying to show them the world can be a challenge financially. Follow me,
especially during the Holidays, for as many inexpensive ventures as we can go on with our families, as
well as a little get away adult time.
This past weekend we enjoyed the nice spring weather in winter at Rochester’s Public Market. They
will be having Santa Slay carriage rides for the next two weeks. FREE. the first thing I would advise
you to do is wait in line early to grab your ticket number. The wait gets long.
If you get side tracked like I do, no worries! They have cookie decorating stations and drawing tables
to keep the little ones occupied while you wait.
We made it there before they began passing out tickets so we shopped a little and had rounds of hot
coco; grabbed our tickets, walked and shopped more. The produce the farmers have is fresh and
there for a steal.
With our sugar high, we boarded the ride and the kids got to tell Santa that they are behaving
for this Christmas.
There’s nothing like a big jolly man with a white beard and red suit. He even let my son tug at
